Currently, firms can offer equity crowdfunding deals only to accredited investors.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px 0px 22px; padding: 0px;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Once the proposed rules are issued, the five-member board plans to vote whether to move forward on them.
