Presumably due to security risks or bloat issues that are more
important than whatever benefits it provides. Email lists are
malware targets, and people don't like it when their app or device
bogs down from loading or executing needless bloat. <br>
<br>
For that matter, embedded links also ought to go, and people should
post actual URLs rather than hide them under highlighted text.
That's also a security issue for malware, spyware, etc. <br>
