Hello SudoRoom crowd,<br>
I'll be taking off from Thailand in your direction and I would love
to meet you!<br>
My plan is not to miss the Rent Party, and hopefully make it part of
my birthday ;P<br>
The thing is that I'll be landing the 18th morning. Actually, I'm
going to append here the message I sent to your member I found in C$
but has moved to Minnesota (at least most of it ;) >><br>
------<br>
'been reading your profile and you sound exactly like the kind of
guy I want to meet there. Last year I read Little Brother and
Homeland and that's the kind of crowd I like.
<p>I'll be landing in SF the morning of the 18th. I just realized
that it will be my birthday! wow! I've never been in the American
continent, so that would be a nice present!<br>
I helped funding a hackvillage in Catalunya 4 years ago (<a
href="https://calafou.org/en" target="_blank">Ca la Fou</a>),
and been a squatter in England.<br>
<br>
As I said before, this will be my first time in America, in the
States and California!! It sounds amazing. I never really wanted
to go to that country, but that area has a different aura. Many
generations of activist, hacklabs (I know you call them hackspaces
in there), coops, universities, technology...<br>
<br>
I don't know how long I'll be around there, but the main purpose
is to go farming, if you know what I mean ;P Maybe you have some
contacts also.<br>
<br>
So, will you be able to host me some days?</p>
-------<br>
<br>
So that's how I got to know you, bouncing from info to info till I
found out 'bout the SudoRoom.<br>
<br>
I've seen that you have Linux evening the 18th. Maybe you can
convince me to switch back from Ubuntu back to Debian, now that
Jessie is out.<br>
<br>
Anyway, the "please host me" request is still open.<br>
<br>
I'll be seeing you!<br>
