Hi all!
Last week, we had a great gathering of folks - most of them new to the space - who participated in the POSSE party sponsored by the BACE Timebank. We got to know each other, shared food, then went around in a circle listing things we were seeking / needed, and things we had to offer. It was great fun and many friends were made!
That's to become a monthly 3rd Fridays event. There is also desire to do something similar on First Fridays, but tailored more towards community organizers to come, share food and resources, and engage in a sort of 'meta-organizing' event.
