Hello. I hope you are doing well

After reading about your project, I acquired a used 5th gen Kindle model D01100. I browsed through the four pinned repositories but I am still unsure where to start. Is there a step-by-step guide to 1) try the pre-built binaries/images/roms or 2) build everything from scratch? I'd be happy to contribute with testing, texting and/or suggestions. Re point (2) I've most prerequisites already installed like Vagrant and Virtualbox.
