So why is another firmware being developed? Plenty exist already.

What are the key features of the firmware you folks are developing? Chances are that something already exists to do what you want, and you can deploy that much faster. :) Or is it more of a learning exercise?

I'd love to have a version 0 of our firmware ready for people before
then. Do you think it would be useful to do the TIL before we have a
