The private lan used to exist, and did mostly separate ethernet from
wifi. But in 2019 when the private lan switch died suddenly, people
freaked out and immediately moved all its ethernet cables onto the
other switch next to it. None of them were labelled, so it was
impossible to reverse this change without a lot of detective work.

I'm sorry I didn't document things well enough when I first set up
saros. But it sounds like things are changing soon when Marc sets up
the new router - is it still worth bothering to document how saros is
configured now?
