I heard of node.js running well on android and cjdns uses node.js on openwrt.

Interesting. But this still requires node.js? How does node.js run on
small OpenWrt routers? It seems not. So this is then more suitable for
distributed servers and not really for in the mesh deployment where
something would run on each node?

But interesting nevertheless!
