- deleting the /notes pad took over an hour, presumably because it had > 100,000 revisions
- We cleaned up several old PRs and made issues for follow-up work. (Details at the bottom of this e-mail for those interested in details.)
- bengo taught me about travis.yml files and what they can do
- we had fun!
Oh--one major breakthrough that did not happen at the working group:
paidforby made sudowrt-firmware builds more than 1000% faster! https://github.com/sudomesh/sudowrt-firmware/issues/137. Holy cow!! Thanks for digging into docker and saving us all hours & hours of navel-gazing and hair-pulling 🐴👷🐩
Another breakthrough: juul figured out how to get debian installed on these dirt cheap pogoplugs!
https://github.com/Juul/pogoplug-pro-debian. Looks very promising for hosting mesh services that require lots of storage!
As always, if you want to get involved with the sudomesh software and don't know where to start, just say hello in the #software channel of
peoplesopen.net/chat. There's plenty to work on, from HTML/CSS to node/js to bash scripts and network configurations.
