Just a quick update from tonight's meshup.

Daniel and Will were here and two new folk came by who have previous mesh experience, especially more high end private mesh setups. They said they'd be back and talked about writing up a guide to openwrt compatible mesh hardware in the post-new-FCC rules!

We got Will set up with a MyNet N600 and a Picostation 2 and he's going to come by on Thursday and crimp a cable for his rooftop node. He is now living even closer to Omni and it looks like he has line of sight between the apartment complexes!

Will took the opportunity to write down every step of the flashing and configuring process and will be updating the walkthrough on the wiki!

The SSL cert on secrets.sudomesh.org had expired (it's used for the makenode database) so I updated that.

We also shared some pizza and used the CCL model of just putting out a hat for pizza money which ended up recouping all but $1 of the cost :)
