Hey folks!

Want to come join me at "City Camp Oakland" this weekend?
http://citycamp.com/oakland/

According to the website, it's an "unconference focused on innovation and collaboration for municipal governments, community organizations and citizens."

I'm a bit skeptical some of the ideas, but I think it could be a useful opportunity to connect to some local folks who could really help us out.

For example, I just found out that the building Laurel Books is in on Oscar Grant Plaza is actually owned by the city. The owner of the business would be totally on board with our plans, but she's concerned about whether the city would allow us to mount antennas.

To that purpose, I've added a "topic/session" to talk about peoplesopen.net!

I'd love to have another person or two there to help schmooze/tell people how amazing our idea is!

Thanks!
Max
