Hi, April -

Did you ever see my question about whether it was a good or bad idea to work with local libraries on using mesh ideas to signal-boost their wifi throughout neighborhoods? The queasy part for me is this creates a contact point with government/bureaucracy.

The interesting part is local libraries are well distributed throughout a city. Senior centers are as well, and in Berkeley they have wifi. The downside is their wifi would only be on for certain hours, and there might be some content-blocking.

Great idea! Just can't make it today unfortunately. Any other afternoon/evening would work for me.

I got a propane BBQ yesterday and I want to try it out!

Today (Tuesday) isn't going to be quite as warm as yesterday, at least not in the evening, so how's about we meet at my place in West Oakland, at 6 pm (before it gets cold and dark) with our laptops and some stuff to throw on the barbie and then head to the New Parkway to watch Ex Machina?
Good idea? Bad idea?

( i'm in the mood for celebrating a bit since the CCL kickstarter just reached its goal :)
