What kind of agreement did you suggest? Monkeybrains puts repeaters on customer's roofs, and they have a policy of not extending any kind of special service or consideration for the roof real estate. They've found that it just causes problems, and most people don't mind having a repeater, if they even know about it.

I talked to Monkeybrains and Comcast today.

Monkeybrains are coming to West Oakland in a couple of months and I told them about the Omni and that we could maybe come to an agreement if they want to put in fiber and service the neighboring apartment buildings. They noted it down but seemed only slightly interested and said to check back in two months.

Comcast claims to have a 2 gigabit connection available at the Omni building. It would cost $1k in installation and $320 per month. They have a separate team that deals with gigabit and that team will call me in the next two days. I'm going to get them to send me the contract so we can check it over before signing up, but this seems like a really good way to go until we can find something better.
