Oakland ICE Raid Hearing

In July of 2017, we gathered to Deport ICE from Oakland by ending the agreement between Homeland Security Investigations (HSI/ICE) and the Oakland Police Department.
But the Oakland Police Department didn't listen to us. On August 16, they provided traffic control and assistance to an ICE raid in West Oakland.
So we need to tell them again. A little bit louder now.

Oakland Privacy has been fighting for transparency in law enforcement surveillance operations since 2013.
The Privacy Commission, the first municipal citizens privacy commission in the country, was built out of Oakland's resistance to the Domain Awareness Center.
Its ability to hold OPD and Oakland public officials accountable for following city policies is at stake, as well as the viability of sanctuary city legislation across the region and the state.
We want Sanctuary City, not Sanctuary Bullshit.
Please come on November 14 to support the Privacy Commission, Deport ICE and demand the truth from our public officials.
Thank you!
