I have a cordless drill i can bring and I know sudoroom had a bunch, I don't have a saw though, maybe someone can bring I'm  guessing a Skill Saw?  We had a box of wheels also, it would be cool if we could just screw wheels to the bottom/side of the ovens and roll them that way, but I would trust a dolly or a diy coaster that can stand the weight.

If you have a cordless saw and drill you can rig something up from scraps of lumber.  Probably 2 long 2x6's and some smaller pieces for underneath.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, we need a dolly (no idea if omni has a good one for this),  I have rope I can bring, and sudoroom had a long table top disconnected that I think we can use (no idea if its still where I think it is though).

Subject: Re: [omni-kitchen] This Saturday (9/28) - Move Stove(s)/Oven(s) in Basement

I am busy this Saturday,  but from my experience moving printing presses up stairs, might I suggest 1.) A temporary ramp of sorts.  You can strap the ovens onto a dolly and pull them up with ropes?

     Just a suggestion.

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I've been missing in action for awhile now, but I'm back after working on some personal things and I'd like to start helping out again at Omni.

I want to help get rid of the stoves in the basement this Saturday. I'll have my truck at Omni from 10am to 4pm. Afterwards I plan to deliver them to the recycler.

Is anyone available to help with the move from the basement upstairs? Anyone the strength to help out would be appreciated.

Thanks!
