Hey Ed,
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I would have loved to talk with Boots about the space.
For rentals, this is the way to request space. Fill out this form:
We meet 2nd and 4th Thursdays for the Commons working group where we go over these requests. Technically, we will review November requests next Thursday (2nd of October), but sometimes we can accommodate late requests.
Thanks,
Julio
One of my serfs, er...tenants is doing some stop-motion animation to
help Boots Riley make a video, I believe called Sorry To Bother You. Mr.
Riley needs some space to do some shooting, possibly even renting some
place he can set up some gear. Anywho, I'm supposed to meet him and his
producer at the Omni at 2:30 PM Wednesday, October 5th to show them
around the space (though Boots has been playing there since the 90's,
apparently).
Unfortunately, it is hard to propel me off of my well-barded derrière,
so I haven't been around the Omni much lately, and I don't really know
what might be available and what we can do for Mr. Riley, so I'd
appreciate if someone better informed (and less unsightly) were on hand
to help squire Boots about. Shoot me an email if you think you can meet
me there tomorrow.
Much Grass,
Ed-oplasm
