It involves getting a placemat for every visit so that you can have your own "space" to learn and work. It helps solve the "blank white first page" problem (or if you are goth the first blank black page)
the idea is - keep you from spending all your time online or hunched over a computer
- also it's like a "shadowbox" in a factory, you keep all your tools in one place.
- physical world instead of the digital world exclusively
