I moved all the bags with tree clippings close to the compost bins there were picked up today, but WM only picked up the bins.
Anyone knows why? Do these bags work only for residential properties?

Yes - let's document all the improvements we've made since moving into the Omni, including soundproofing the ballroom, wheelchair bathroom, upgrading the electrical and plumbing in CCL, etc.

@Leslie - we'll be working both days & likely every day to some degree until it's done

i think for proof of building improvements, we could gather our building permits (wheelchair bathroom, entrance hall, ccl) & home depot receipts to prove diy work

Roberto sent this list of tasks to the building list - sharing here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XJ6HRW32KeqP9ZCWXjCvXPqoNmHmyt4dIR41EZNK8vI/edit

Thank you for this, Roberto!!

There's a home depot egift card with $200 still on it, I believe, from the water heater purchase. LMK and I'll send it to anyone doing runs. I can also do one this evening. Marc is on his way over to help with sudo, and is making some calls to folks who may have missed the email. Some SPAZ folks will be coming tomorrow to do basement cleanup and painting. I'm working on the books for the prop tax exemption app today, but will be along tomorrow afternoon to help. also gave the heads up to village folks, though they are busy building this wknd so their cleanup will probably happen on weekdays.

marc and i just ordered the fabric for the awning - it should arrive by the end of the week, either Thursday or Friday - please be on the lookout for a package from Big Duck Canvas.

@yar - i can't make a sudo mtg this wednesday, but would love to see sudo meetings happen again! additional to do items for sudo include: confirming one or two new, consistent delegates; fundraising (i'll send a financial report by end of the weekend, but suffice to say we are not currently bringing in enough to cover our expenses (roughly $2100/mo).

@Autonomous -
We do have that: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15dL8_clfSx8BlkeFRVQ5mZIbPDM6-DjEoub3ugkO5uQ/edit#gid=1555087632 - feel free to contribute by gathering more quotes!

I'll reach out to Genesis Fire today for our annual fire extinguisher and exit light upgrades.

Since much of our maintenance is DIY, it can be hard to demonstrate proof. Do folks think a timeline of work done since buying the building would suffice? If so I can work on that, too.

The insurance inspector says you need to "provide proof of building updates and proper maintenance". What are the building updates and maintenance items that the insurance company is referring to? Or is this a general statement about the condition of the building?

If you have a list of rehabilitation and maintenance items needed such as a new roof it may make it easier to obtain financing and/or funding on that basis. The 2022 balloon payment could be added-on.
