Join us on June 12 at Driver Plaza to build a cob bench during the Every Month is Black History Month Celebration! (rescheduled from March 20)
Aunti Frances and the Self-Help Hunger Program are working to INCREASE people's ability to eat, talk and share time together with our families at Driver Plaza, all while strengthening community resilience against the harmful health and environmental affects of gentrification to ensure black futures in the Ohlone Bay Area. Benches are essential for that, so thanks to Afrikatown, Qilombo and Full Harvest Farm for collaborating with us to build this cob bench! Come out to build with us and stay for the BBQ, ceremony, local musical performances, mural dedication, speakers and more!
