I stand corrected on that point. At least it should deter casual
thieves, and as long as someone who's authorized can pick up any
amounts that are in there every day or two, it ought to work.
Uh... there have been thefts from the space, including
Anthony Repetto's bicycle (and he is not rich, that's a
significant loss) ... so, a clear plastic dropbox for
money, without even an easily picked disc-tumbler lock,
strikes me as an invitation to thieves.
