On Saturday, April 5, engage in late-night discussions on major global issues and enjoy live music, screenings, and performances at Night of Ideas from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
Then on Sunday, April 6, experience Yuan Goang-Ming: Everyday War, our newest exhibition featuring one of Taiwan's most acclaimed and influential video artists, as part of a special Free First Sunday offering.

Yuan Goang-Ming: Everyday War is organized by the Asian Art Museum. The lead sponsor for the exhibition is The Fred Eychaner Charitable Fund. Additional support is provided by the Taiwan Academy of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles and the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan. Sustained support generously provided by the Akiko Yamazaki and Jerry Yang Endowment Fund for Exhibitions and the Kao/Williams Contemporary Art Exhibitions Fund.
Night of Ideas is presented by the Villa Albertine – Institut Français network. The global late-night festival takes place this year in over 110 countries and 350 cities, including programs in San Francisco, Seattle, Santa Cruz, Portland, and Honolulu.
Free admission on the first Sunday of every month is made possible by Northern California Kaiser Permanente.
