I'm hoping to get in touch with Open Oakland and plan to attend their next meeting, but I thought I'd also ask if any sudoers presently contribute to that project, that I might be able to catch up with? 

I'd like to open up Oakland's Acella API (building records & complaint system). 

I was also wondering if it'd be ok to for example, invite city dev/IT staff to an Open Oakland meeting.
