An early afternoon jaunt to work on a quick XR (Augmented reality / Virtual Reality) piece inspired by the a literary work. An example is the Eurydice piece that was shown at the Venice Bienniale.
Hopefully at the end of the session we'll have something we can share across all headsets and phones in augmented or virtual reality (one possibility is webXR which we've played around with to showcase Sudoroom here https://fancy-charming-physician.glitch.me )
We'll be taking a look at Octavia Butler's science fiction Eartheed trilogy which was one of the inspirations for Kara Walker's piece Fortuna and the Immortality Garden (Machine) currently on show at the SF Moma museum.
