Thanks for drawing my attention to the occultation.  

It was fun to watch even with the light pollution we have in the city.  When mars got very close to the moon, my eyes couldn't see it because the moon is so much brighter but the Griffith Park telescope in LA streamed the view of the setting and rising of mars nicely.
