I'm noticing that the sudo-announce list does not get used often enough for many informational postings that rightfully belong there.  I for one am wanting to mitigate the amount of email exposure I get to the constant barrage of BS and negative energy from discuss list but don't want to  "miss out" when opportunities come up.  I would like to sign off the discuss list and encourage people to use the sudo-announce list more as appropriate.  For example,  I think the email thread about the Google disability hack thing should have gone to sudo-announce as well as sudo-discuss, and then people can continue the conversation over sudo-discuss as they wish.
