Please join Oakland Wiki, the free website about Oakland that anyone can edit, on Saturday August 31st from 11AM-2PM at the Peralta Hacienda Historical Park/Parque Histórico de la Hacienda Peralta in Fruitvale for Oakland Wiki Day!
We will learn more about our Oakland history and share what we know with others. Oakland Wiki volunteers will be helping people learn how to use the wiki, add their knowledge, and create new entries. Bring your laptop if you have one, but don't worry if you don't as we will have a few on hand. This is a FREE event and open to participants of all ages! Peralta Hacienda is a wonderful community resource with a historical museum and lovely park, so there will be lots to do for people of all ages.
