Hi Sudoers:
We’ve got a bunch of upcoming programs: you're most welcome at any
or all of them:
-This Wednesday Feb 16 5:30PM Northeastern U/Mills College Oakland

-This Friday Feb 20 6:30PM Circuit Launch Oakland
https://www.meetup.com/circuit-launch/events/
Our monthly third Friday residency at Circuit Launch, we’ve added
an AI thought leadership practice group discussion.
-This Saturday Feb 21 noon-3PM Linux Luncheon and Installfest at
StrayCap Multispace
https://straycap2.wixsite.com/mysite/home
StrayCap’s got hundreds of expired Chromebooks that can be
converted to general purpose or specialty laptops; we’ll work
alongside local Linux enthusiasts to convert and configure them
while asking: how can we best re-purpose these in our communities
to improve digital literacy, digital sovereignty, digital
inclusion, digital equity?
You’re welcome to take some home to experiment with. You’re also
most welcome to bring your own Linux, computer-related, or general
repair projects to work on and get help with.
(See https://bit.ly/cbsave for background.)
(StrayCap is about a 7-minute walk from Hayward BART.)
