Dear Sir or Madam,

Hi, I'm Eunyoung Oh, and I am a Post Doctoral Researcher in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea.

Our team is currently participating in the 2026 Public Technology-Based Market Exploration and Startup Support Program at the UCB .

As part of this program, we are conducting short interviews with experienced FDM 3D printer users to better understand their printing experiences, challenges, and material needs.

We will be staying near Berkeley for three weeks in July and participating in a training program at Berkeley Haas.

The interview will take approximately 10–20 minutes and will cover topics such as printer usage frequency, printing environment, common difficulties, and the advantages and disadvantages of the filaments currently being used.

Your experience and insights would be highly valuable to our research and startup exploration activities.

If you are available, we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to arrange an interview at your convenience and would be grateful for the opportunity to visit at a time that is convenient for you. (Zoom or Teams are available)

If you are not the appropriate person to contact, we would also greatly appreciate it if you could recommend someone nearby who frequently uses FDM 3D printers.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Eunyoung Oh
