i'll ask jack to come take a look at it...i think he wired it.

 

also, for the hobbed bolt, how are you doing it?  a drill press used as a mill will still not be a mill, and may no longer be a drill after long.  i have a small (1'x2' footprint) mill i can bring in for this if that would be of use.
