Just wanted to reassure people that this is incorrect - just verified that with the Omni delegates meeting this evening. Yes, the insurance company sent an inspector out a couple months ago, but as far as we know, we passed that inspection to their satisfaction, and our insurance will be renewed.

That being said - sure, we'd love a sprinkler system at the Omni. But by code it cannot be tied into the regular water lines, and just the cost of getting a second tap into the water mains is currently prohibitively expensive, regardless of what material the actual sprinkler tubing would be made of.

If you know anybody who might be willing to make a significant donation to get sprinklers installed at the Omni, please do let us know. Don't remember the last estimate, but I believe it was well above $100K...
