Ken - the person you encountered by the ladder last night was one of the mesh crew. LMI & AT&T were scheduled to work on it today starting at noon. We replaced the rooftop node that wasn't working before with a model we know to work with the mesh firmware.Does the phone have a dialtone?Did you do a speedtest connected directly to the DSL modem?Robb, are you sure the connection is from LMI and not the reconnected mesh node?Said neighbor disconnected the node this morning and then reconnected it around 1pm.Our service with LMI should be 100/100 symmetrical. It's a dual DSL line. We should be getting much more than 5.7mbps up.JennyHelp open a people-powered common space in Oakland, California!https://omnicommons.org/donate

Perhaps we can talk them into giving us a backup link. We should at least get an SSID and geographic coordinates so we can check signal quality.
The equipment we already have on the roof has a decent antenna.2017-05-24 14:24 GMT-07:00 Marc Juul <juul@labitat.dk>:Last night we managed to get a temporary connection up via some friendly neighbors but that connection is no longer viable. Does anyone know of LMI came by today? On Wed, May 24, 2017 at 12:48 AM, robb <sf99er@gmail.com> wrote:______________________________we haz nets!we haz nets!!!!!!!!!On Tue, May 23, 2017 at 8:01 PM, Jake <jake@spaz.org> wrote:is this a real story or did you get it by a game of telephone?

There was a big fiber cut in Oakland last night, caused by a homeless
