Tekla labs notes (UC Berkeley meeting)

- Nerd night - pitching a few different maker events to Nerd night around Makers, would love East Bay DIY Bio and Sudo room ideas

- Tekla would love our thoughts on top list of biotech equipment we'd want and costs for build commercial and makers

- They're interested in unique DIY bio use cases and also anyone interested in taking part in their design contests

- Cinnaholic - comes highly recommended

- They'd like to think of some medium sized project to work with Sudo room and East Bay DIY bio

- Tekla labs site - they'd love to share more high quality guides to building biotech equipment, the idea is to make it a community

- They have some kits for making magnetic stirers, if anyone is interested, they were thinking of doing this for work shop weekend (possibly partnering with us)

- they're establishing profiles for all biotech do'ers from researchers in latin america through to hobbyists and welcome anyone to set up a profile, not fully automated but they can walk you through
