Hi Steve,

August 24 sounds great. The next step would be to add the event to the August 24th date on the TIL wiki page: https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Today_I_Learned and we can coordinate promotion as we get closer to the date!

Best,
Marina

Looks like we can have a critical mass of Fixit Coaches for August 24.

Just looking at my calendar, and the July dates I could do Today I Learned Fixit Clnic are already taken.

How does August 24th sound?

I will run it by the other Fixit Coaches also.

i'm glad that you are as organized as we are!

i think for now we are trying to get a solid block of TIL's at least through august, so if you'd like to book a slot for fixit any time in july or august, we would love to have you! check out the schedule at: https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Today_I_Learned

I think you are imagining that we are way more organized than we are in reality :-)

Next on the fixit calendar for the Bay Area after June 22 is sept 29 at the piedmont harvest festival. Perhaps we should plan one for July or August at sudo room?

thanks steve! yes, please keep sending us your upcoming events! do you have a longer list of upcoming events? if not, you can post them on the sudo room calendar (you can also have a blog post that includes something like a list of clinics for the next few months), and/or post them on oaklandwiki.org.

given that we're trying to bulk up our "Today I Learned" schedule so that we can have a nice, long schedule, it would be good to have potentially two long schedules - one for TIL and one for you guys - on a shared flyer that we can send to folks. and of course, if you are ever interested in hosting a fixit clinic on a saturday afternoon at sudo room, there are many open slots: https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Today_I_Learned :D

I meant to send this earlier, but spaced it out.

If any sudoers are interested in either bringing in some broken stuff to fix, or in being a Fixit Coach, come on down to Albany on Sunday afternoon.

If that doesn't work for you, we will be at the Temescal Branch of the Oakland Public Library on Saturday, June 22 from 12-3.

See you there,

Steve
