Come by East Bay Makers Club anytime from noon to midnight, bring friends and family, and stay as long as you like.

Noon–4pm — Family-Friendly Activities + Snacks

  • Hands-on maker activities with Tinker Coop, including the chance to drive Gary, their lovable chicken robot.

  • Kid-safe ʻohe kapala stamping with Holistic Honu Wellness Center.

  • Hands-on science fun with Community Resources for Science.

  • Kids can get creative with a self-guided vertical wind tunnel and chomp saw cardboard supplies.

  • Help build a community geodesic dome from the ground up with cardboard.

  • Kids can make a personalized laser-engraved squish ball.

  • EBMC members can silk-screen an exclusive EBMC first-edition member T-shirt.

  • Light snacks provided by our neighbors at Evergreen Cafe.

2–4pm — DMB: Doodle Making Booth

  • Get a custom EBMC DMB ID card hand-drawn by Tish. Limited quantities available, and wait times are likely.

6:30pm — Dale Dougherty: Twenty Years of Make

  • Dale Dougherty, founder of MAKE Magazine and Maker Faire, will present on Twenty Years of Make.

8pm — Build Night Begins

  • Stay late, make things, meet other members, and help carry on the tradition of EBMC’s community build nights.

8–10pm — Fixit Clinic

  • Fixit Clinic will be on site at EBMC. Get help repairing your broken items, upcycling, and learn about becoming a Fixit Coach.

11:45pm — Cleanup + Closing

  • Thanks for helping us celebrate the Grand Opening of East Bay Makers Club.
