Heifer International is a non-profit working to end world hunger and poverty through sustainable agriculture and community development programs. This Hackathon will draw on the range of talents of participants in order to help Heifer address some real-world challenges of their work.
The organizing committee is working closely with Heifer to curate a set of well-defined challenge statements to maximize information availability, and the impact that a 24-hour event can have. Participants will have access to subject-matter experts, real datasets, in addition to the basics: Wi-fi, meals, snacks, caffeine, and a dedicated nap room.
