The Internet is great because it belongs to all of us equally. It's a level playing field -- whether you want to promote your music, apply for a job, play a game or start a business. But that could soon change.
The web as we know it today is founded on the principle of 'Net Neutrality:' The idea that "content" should be given the same priority no matter who it's coming from and who it's going to. Policymakers in the U.S. are currently considering whether or not to adopt rules that protect Net Neutrality. Millions of people asked them to. Even President Obama (http://www.whitehouse.gov/net-neutrality).
