the status quo is Almaz willfully violating consensus & repeatedly putting the building in jeopardy

Do you all understand how serious a block is? Jake & Hol, when's the
last time either of you has gone to a delegates meeting and/or talked
to the people you are saying "no" to? This is not how consensus
process works. If you treat blocking power as an armchair veto, the
whole thing will break down. You have to offer solutions.

There is a new proposal to delay decision on this one, to let the
status quo continue for 3 months while a professional mediation
process happens. Who is willing to participate?

To me, the primary question here isn't what rules were broken or what
paperwork got shuffled in the wrong way. The primary question for me
is how to keep everybody under this roof. I want to try my best to
make that happen and to keep GCEA in this community so they can
continue doing the important work they do here. I am ashamed to be a
part of Sudoroom right now, and wondering whether anybody else in this
group remotely shares the same values as me.

FWIW another GCEA member (Kiwi) is thinking of taking over Almaz's
role as delegate, but she said she wants to take a few months to learn
more about the role before committing.
