Turns out per omnis hvac tech, our gas furnaces will automatically shut down when gas is off and automatically relight. So they are fine to run for heat if needed.

The space heater in CCL will also automatically shut down when gas pressure drops, but needs to be manually restarted & pilot light lit. This has also successfully occurred, so it is back in service.
