A friend of mine who sews semi-professionally mentioned that an exceptionally beefy sewing machine is available at the estate sale place by Jack London / 4th near Broadway (this one: http://www.somethingtosellabout.com/home.html) for $175 as of a few days ago.

She'd split the cost with a few of us if we could put it in sudo room and make it available. I'd also split the cost with 3-4+ people.
I won't be able to go down to see if it's still there, gather more detailed info, and plan transportation to sudo room if appropriate until Saturday at the earliest.

With or without me, and asap, would anyone like to get involved as a co-investor, detective, or sewing machine transport specialist?
