Any other groups planning to attend East Bay Mini Maker Faire? I'm planning to register for a booth for CCL. We can ask to be next to each other if we have multiple groups from the Omni participating...

I've attended the East Bay Mini Maker Faire since they started 3 (4?) years ago. It has a much more local, intimate, and less commercial feel than the giant San Mateo one. Tons more kids and families as well.

Not to mention that it's essentially within walking distance... After party at the Omni?

East Bay Mini Maker Faire

First round of acceptances have gone out for the 5th annual East Bay Mini Maker Faire on Sunday, October 19th.

Only "Mini" in relationship to the "Monster" Maker Faire Bay Area, our Oakland show welcomes over 7,000 people to a one-day extravaganza of East Bay (and beyond) talent.

In part to help all those dusting off, we are extending the CALL for FABULOUS PROJECTS and MUSIC and WORKSHOPS and PRESENTERS into next week.
