It's my understanding that the forward voltage of a diode is .7V and the voltage goes up with the spectrum from red to uv. Red being the lowest voltage & lowest frequency. Not sure if that applies tho
No no. You’re suggestion about buck converters was good.
Unfortunately, my situation might not lend itself to joule thiefs or
buck converters. Some experimentation will reveal more.
