I have completed the process for verifying and creating a profile with Brevity, a Google workplace-giving program for charitable organizations.

Let me know if you can help with any verbage for our profile (description of organization), projects (eg; I made one for Peoples Open Network), and/or volunteer opportunities (be creative ;)

I'll post the public link to this thread when we get approved... if there is a public link.

Cheers,
Jenny

Welcome to Google's Giving Program Powered by Benevity

Important Information About GooglersGive, the Google Workplace Giving Program

Hi SUDO ROOM,

A Google employee has nominated your organization for inclusion in GooglersGive, Google’s workplace giving program. In order to be eligible to receive donations from Google, you need to register at the Benevity Causes Portal by completing the four steps listed below.

The mission of GooglersGive is to leverage the talent, skills and resources of Googlers so that they have extraordinary impact on themselves and the world around them.
In September 2013, Google changed gift-matching providers from EasyMatch to Benevity. This transition means charitable organizations that have completed the registration process will be eligible to receive their disbursements on a monthly basis. It's a simple process and should only take about 45 minutes to complete.

NOTE: Even if your organization has been a recipient of Google matching funds in the past, you need to register with Benevity to ensure your continued participation in the program.

Here are registration steps required on your part:

1.  Action Required : Register Your Charity

2.  Action Required : Verify Your Organization

3.  Action Required : Self-Certification

4.  Action Required : Electronic Donations Payments

We've provided an instruction guide on how to complete each of these steps here:http://storage.benevity.com/Register_Your_Charity.pdf
