The problem appeared to me to be that the /humans/ reverse proxy was changed from port 5000 to port 2000. The humans server has always been on port 5000. I suspect someone accidentally changed the humans reverse proxy configuration rather than adding a new configuration section for some other app. Something is running on port 2000, but I don't know what it is. Whatever it is, its default behavior is to redirect to /search.

That means CCL is not able to add any new members, we can't check who is paying their membership fees, existing members are not able to update their payment information, etc...
