Got this advice from the CEO of Sonic. I'm inclined to do this at least as one of our trunks.
Okay, here's the scoop:
They are really, really, really close to the central office there.
This means they should get crazy fast service.
But we have an upgrade in the works, some months away, that'll make it
even faster. I'd hoped we could prioritize this CO and get it rolled
out there in time for their opening, but we just can't make that
happen due to workload.
So here's my suggestion:
Have them order plain old single line Fusion service, which is about
$58/mo. It'll deliver around 24Mbps/1.5Mbps, and be an adequate
solution for the short term.
Then, when we get the new VDSL2 cards deployed in that CO, have them
order a dual-line service. It'll deliver a bit over 100Mbps/20Mbps at
that location, and cost about $125/mo.
This is the most cost-effective path to their goal outcome.
