New page

So far the following 3d printers have octoprint setup:

[[TAZ4]]

[[Creality Ender-3 S1]]

I'm not personally sure how the Ender has octoprint setup but it's mentioned on the ender page. Can't seem to get it to connect... I will look into this.

The TAZ4 is running octoprint on a chromebook (@octoprint1)

The username is sudoroom and the password is octoprint.

octoprint1: http://100.64.66.114:5000

To set this up on a chromebook, first get a chromebook with the basic lubuntu image on it.

Next, use the following repository to set it up: https://github.com/paukstelis/octoprint_deploy

1. git clone https://github.com/paukstelis/octoprint_deploy

2. sudo octoprint_deploy/octoprint_deploy.sh

3. Select Prepare System in the menu

4. Select Add Instance in the menu

5. continue through the install... you don't want to setup a proxy most likely... otherwise everything is pretty standard.

Profit???

Basically, this script sets up a bunch of systemd services that run octoprint automatically from a configuration file in .$INSTANCE_NAME (which you provide to the installer). You can poke around this configuration if you want. This should setup automatically on port 5000. You can test the install by checking the current ip on the chromebook (ip config), then going to that address in a browser as an http link (not https unless we set this up in the future).
