first light

Just booting up...

using an FTDI device plugged into J1 pins

find the serial port for the FTDI USB adapter

ls /dev/tty*
  • might be /dev/ttyAMA0 on linux
  • might be /dev/tty.usbmodemfa133 on mac

Wiring from the FTDI device:

  • BBB - FTDI
  • pin 1 GND - GND
  • pin 4 RX - TX
  • pin 5 TX - RX

in terminal:

screen <usbdevicename> 115200
  • first login with root, no password

Add B.A.T.M.A.N interface
