Support for 802.11ac devices in OpenWRT is limited but Felix has written an open and stable driver for the MT76x2 chipsets.

The following devices are fully supported except for switch VLAN control:

Two LAN ports + one WAN port. 100 mbit only
Two antennas. Dual radio.
Two LAN ports + one WAN port. 100 mbit only
2.4 GHz only. Not actually 802.11ac, only 802.11n but same mediatek chipset.
Two LAN ports + one WAN port
One antenna per radio?
OpenWRT wiki refers to it as Lenovo Y1 v1 but I think the newifi mini is the same unit
Shipping from Korea is expensive for single units ($17) but affordable as unit count goes up
Four LAN ports + one WAN port
Two antennas per radio
Only B1 version works! A1 version uses another chipset!
Four LAN ports + one WAN port
Unknown internal antennas
OpenWRT support apparently unconfirmed?
Four LAN ports + one WAN port
Unknown internal antennas
