The word I like even more is "connectivity". Because "access" is often
only one-way. And Internet connectivity is both ways. I don't really
like concept of "Internet access" because it sounds to me too much as
Internet is something you can consume (once you have access). One of big
things we were trying to teach people in Slovenia is that Internet is
not some goods which is mined somewhere and you buy this from your ISP
and then use it, but it is something which creates when people connect
to each other and more people connect, more it is, nobody loses
anything. The big idea to get people to even think about is that they
can create their own Internet connectivity (not Internet access). And
then provide it to others, their neighborhood. That this is not
something which has to be provided by somebody else because it is mined
somewhere far away.
Just something to think about.
