But a general principle I like is to have many whisperers instead of big
loud centralized towers. Yes, throughput might be worse, but it is much
more robust. At the end you also interfere with each other less. But
this is mostly an argument against big high power nodes with omni
antennas. It is better to have many normal power nodes.

As always, depends on what is your use case. If this is the only
(non-censored) Internet access you have ... Throughput and connectivity
are often on different sides of the stick.
