Sudo Mesh sudomesh.org is interested on cooperative models, and supportive of folks forming them, but not the model that seems intuitive for our development. We are becoming a 501(c)3 nonprofit and launching and contributing to an independent project open to other collaborators that is the network itself: peoplesopen.net

There are other local IT cooperatives. Meet with Electric Embers! Check out NoBawc the Network of Bay Area Worker Cooperatives.

Hi all!
Mitar from the PeerLibrary dev group pointed me towards the mesh group- saying that you guys have been discussing some some of the details of what an IT coop might look like.

I was hoping to get some info about this!
A group of people coming out of the Berkeley Student Coops (myself included) are in the process of starting an IT cooperative.

We have been connecting with many groups around the bay to figure out a model and we have been meaning to reach out to the mesh group for a while!
That being said, is there a scheduled time to have a conversation about this effort?

Thanks for any info :)
Best,
Derek
